The use infrared panels in their studio which is awesome!
I learned about infrared several years ago I was in a Biggest Loser team competition at work and I was committed to doing anything to win that money...
I had a colonic (for those who don't know what that is..google it and prepare to be mystified/horrified).
I also did a 60 minute session in an infrared sauna where it got to 140 degrees and my sweat was sweating..lol! But it felt good afterwards. I was so sweaty but felt so clean and energized.
During that challenge I also starved myself (500 calorie days) and would put myself in steaming hot baths the day before weigh-in to dehydrate myself. The only thing I didn't try was bulimia...but if that contest went on longer...you never know.
The contest was 6 weeks long and I lost 16 lbs and my team tied for 1st place.
Was it worth hurting my body.?? Not at all! So I must heal my body. And show it some TLC.
I am going to a yoga basics class and not just doing the hot yoga for weight loss only. **Even though you can burn 1,000 calories in a 90-minute class**
I am doing want to do this class to feel a connection between my mind and my body. For anyone who emotionally eats may really understand that.
